Re: Gold American Eagle - Photos
I would love to see pics of all those eagles in the background piled up and spread around.
It'd make for a great contribution to this thread: http://goldismoney.info/forums/showthread.php?t=245084 |
Re: Gold American Eagle - Photos
That's a pretty impressive background you got there Bro.
Also, that is the best example of a UC GAE that I've seen. I've got a proof that doesn't have that level of detail around the eyes. Very clear shots too. I had to laugh a little at your lead-in sentence, I know what you mean. |
Re: Gold American Eagle - Photos
Awsome pictures. The details are so amazing. :ok:

Re: Gold American Eagle - Photos
I kind of wish I had some proof coins. If I had been into photography when I started buying years ago, I might have purchased a few. The only reason that background happened was because I had to search to find one that was not dinged up or stained and photo worthy. So many pretty ladies with mushed noses and scratched breasts. I really hate to handle them in that fashion. They are back secured and guarded by my feces throwing - shotgun wielding helper monkey so no group photos, sorry.

Re: Gold American Eagle - Photos
Impressive Photography.
Maybe too impressive. Lady liberty kinda looks like a dude with long hair at that level of detail Fortunately, the detail is also impressive enough to see that there is no adams apple. |
Re: Gold American Eagle - Photos
I appreciate the angled shot highlighting her face because all other pics I've seen, including the first in that set make her look like she is either frowning or has a mustache. I was actually surprised to see that the facial features around her mouth are actually normal in the correct lighting.

I've been trying my luck at a light box, not having much success, but this one turned out kinda neat with like a rising sun effect. |
Re: Gold American Eagle - Photos
i never thought i'd say this, but; i've become interested in the quality of gold coins, not so much for the numismatic premium as for the beauty of some of these coins. those pics are superb, morgan. the background is an inspired choice.
